The Minor Sixth/Ninth Chord has a minor quality which includes a minor Third interval that produces a generally sad sound. Minor Sixth/Ninth Chord contains the notes C, E, G, A, D. The Minor Sixth/Ninth Chord is an Added type chord which means it includes a Triad (the Root C, the Third E, and the Fifth G) and one or more additional notes, in this case the Sixth A and the Ninth D.
