The E Major Sixth/Ninth Chord has a Major quality which includes a Major Third interval that produces a generally happy sound. E Major Sixth/Ninth Chord contains the notes E, G♯, B, C♯, F♯. The E Major Sixth/Ninth Chord is an Added type chord which means it includes a Triad (the Root E, the Third G♯, and the Fifth B) and one or more additional notes, in this case the Sixth C♯ and the Ninth F♯.
