The F Major Sixth Chord has a Major quality which includes a Major Third interval that produces a generally happy sound. F Major Sixth Chord contains the notes F, A, C, D. The F Major Sixth Chord is an Added type chord which means it includes a Triad (the Root F, the Third A, and the Fifth C) and one or more additional notes, in this case the Sixth D.
