A Major Chord

The A Major Chord has a Major quality which includes a Major Third interval that produces a generally happy sound. A Major Chord contains the notes A, C, E. The A Major Chord is a Triad type chord which means it consists of only three notes, the Root A, the Third C, and the Fifth E.
